You may not think about it, but the way you start your morning drastically dictates how the rest of your day will go. The most successful people have a structured and detailed morning ritual that they do daily that maximizes their energy and effectiveness. Creating a routine for yourself in the morning will jumpstart your success and catapult into productivity like you’ve never seen.

If you’re like me your anything but a morning person. When your alarm clock goes off, and your head is laid comfortably against the pillow with your favorite sheets hugging your body, the last thing you want to do is jump out of bed, let alone wake up.

For people like you and me, we need to use morning hacks to get us going. Everyone needs to figure out what works for them and find what gets them started in the morning. We’ll cover 4-morning hacks that you can use to create a daily routine that can make you a more successful entrepreneur.

1. Physical activity

The Most Successful people like to start their day off with a solid workout. Whether it’s a run, lifting weights, or playing a sport. It gets the blood flowing and the endorphins pumping. It has also been known to boost creativity and increase focus in some cases. Take a nice walk around your local park or go for a bike ride. Anything that gets your body moving will hack your morning and help you become more productive.

2. Tackle the Hardest Project First

Here’s the deal, by knocking out your most important project first thing in the morning you ensure you get it done and then you can focus on other ventures that take less time and effort.

It’s also mentally stimulating because once you’ve finished the hardest project everything else will feel easier by comparison. You have the most energy in the morning, and it decreases as the day goes on, so it’s important to use this time to maximize your efforts.

3. Learn Something New

There’s a reason school starts in the morning; because its the best time for learning. By incorporating reading into your morning ritual, you will notice that you will open your mind to new ideas earlier to get the brain going.

Whether it’s reading a book, the newspaper, or a trade magazine. Reading in the morning helps you grow as a person and professionally. Warren Buffet gets his day started by reading multiple newspapers and periodicals before he does anything else.

He’s the richest man in the world so he must be doing something right. Set aside some reading material that you’re interested in and take advantage of the quiet hours to learn something new while you eat your breakfast.

4. Meditate

Why does this matter you say? By clearing your mind and focusing on your goals for the day, months, and years to come you can visualize the steps needed for success. You can then place these things into your new morning routine and ensure that you become the best version of yourself. Successful people know the power of meditation and use it to their advantage.

Set aside a little time in your morning and run through the day in your head and picture how it will go. How will you accomplish your goals?  How will you succeed? Visualization has been used by prominent athletes, businesspeople, and entertainers to help them attract goals and desires and you should too. Do this every morning, and you will see that it will improve your mood and help you anticipate the upcoming day and events.
